If sports and social media were to marry, than SportSquare would be their baby! SportSquare is changing the game as both a player and a coach I can find ways to utilize SportSquare to better my game while also collaborating with my team. -Review from James C., Luxemburg

- Sports and computers are my favoutite past times. Putting both together would be awesome. - When playing sports I get thrilled when I score the winning goal! Everyone loves a hero! - If my hockey team was on sports square, I would try harder I would definitely rush home to read the comments and review the plays. We would definitely have an incentive to step it up. My special moment was winning the hockey regionals. I got a hat trick (three goals). I wish I could watch that game again on sports square. I would have got rave reviews!! FRONT PAGE – WHAT PLAYERS SAY

After that last catch is made, the last goal is scored, or the last ball falls majestically through the hoop, the game comes to an end. Handshakes are exchanged for a battle well fought and the players return to their day to day activities. It typically ends there. Perhaps in prehistoric technological times one is left with only the on-field memories, but in today’s rapidly changing online landscape, the game can live on right within the confines of your own home. Now, through easy online communication tools such as Google Groups, Facebook, and others, games are able to virtually live on. Your missed catch, which was officially scored as an embarrassing trip over your own feet that may have previously been forgotten, can now be posted directly on your own Facebook page so your teammates can relive the hilarity of your debacle. Then, as if reliving your lack of athleticism is not enough, the team members can then use Google Groups to further torment you by adding witty commentary to further add fuel to your un-athletic fire. Not all sporting experiences end in accidental miscues, and technological advances do not discriminate. Coaches can now post videos online of players to use as learning tools, or post messages to easily organize additional practices, or make changes to schedules. SportSquare is the missing link to tie all these necessities together making things easier for teammates to connect online, coaches to offer advice and critique, and friends and family to share in the experience. Now instead of plays being forgotten, analysis and advice quickly lost and great play disappearing from the memory banks they can all come together in fantastical sporting bliss on Sport Square.

As a coach for school sports, having a medium like sportsqaure would give players and coaches a way to collaborate and accelerate skill development and ultimately performance. My goal as coach is to promote growth, skill development and player potential. Sports square is an amazing tool which would target team play as a whole as well as individual performance. Adding the social media element would be an instant hook for players. Viewing, rating and encouraging players would promote team spirit, confidence and self esteem. Players would inadvertently be inspired to put their heart in the game and give their best during game time. There are lessons to be learned whether you win or lose. Getting playbacks would reinforce coaches post game comments. Sometimes there are kids that don't like to get critiqued on their performance but having a visual would have a co-teaching effect. Sometimes all one needs is a fresh perspective to bring about growth. Sports square is the ticket for the team that wants the edge!
